Would you kill Bigfoot?

Long story short: a few friends at work and myself have been arguing for close to a month whether it would be best to kill Bigfoot if you encountered him in the wild or to let him live.

So the question is:

If you were hunting in the woods and saw Bigfoot would you kill him to provide concrete evidence of his existence, or would you let him go on his merry way and throw away any chance of proof, in exchange for letting him live?

Let me clarify: You are in the middle of the woods, you don't have a camera anywhere nearby, its raining so you cant come back and take footprints of him, and basically your only options are to kill or not to kill.

After carefully thinking about it my response would be to take Bigfoot out. This way i would be able to prove his existence once and for all.

The problem with this situation is even if you kill him, how are you supposed to bring the corpse back to civilization? Bigfoot would obviously be very heavy, and to drag him through the rain in a forest would be very difficult. Also, you would probably take your cell phone with you while you go hunting, which would have a camera.

But when it comes down to it: No, I wouldn't kill bigfoot because there is still a chance he will be encountered another time where it is possible to study without killing probably an important animal which could fill in some evolutionary gaps.

Well if he was dangerous and all I had was a gun, than yes.
If he wasn't dangerous AND I had a tranquilizer gun, than I wouldn't kill him and make some profit from him
