How to get INS without HL2

[SoNotIsaac]

Hi,
My cousin (Shes a girl) wants to join eGO,
But I can't jst giv my DODS to her cause I already registered for it,
So my only choice is INS,
I only have HL2 but she does not,
A friend of mine said that Source SDK Base can be used for playing INS,
But in my cousins account, she does not have it,
SO I need help!
Thanks,
Diamond

Insurgency requires you to have any Source based game on your Steam account, such as Half-Life 2: Deathmatch.

To obtain a free copy of Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, click on the links below:

ATI
http://www.steampowered.com/ati_offer1a/

NVIDIA
http://www.steampowered.com/nvidia/

After you activate an offer based on your graphics card, you will be able to download Insurgency.
