Man that is a good list!

I think Lawrence of Arabia is about the best movie I've ever seen, but 2001 and Close Encounters of the Third Kind are right up there.

I don;t realy have a one fav but audie murphy's to hell and back is hight up there along with alot of other wwII movies and classic movies

Plan 9 from outerspace had me cracking up the entire time, does that count? (PROTIP: For anyone who doesn't know, it's possibly the worst cult-classic ever, and no, it isn't a comedy)

In all honestly I've always held high regards for Apollo 13, despite its few inaccuracies I think its a great film that had a good balance between the CG effects of the day (which were great, given the fact that it was '95) and simple cinematography tricks. It had some good well-known actors and a decent script. I think it accurately tells what I hold as one of the greatest stories of human triumph ever. Plus they had frozen hotdogs spinning in 0G, that just cracks me up everytime.

(note: this post subject to change, I'm going to be watching Citizen Kane this weekend which I hear is one of the greatest films of all time, right next to 2001...)
