is this Video card good for gaming?

ya, i might still going get a new PSU cause im (hopefully) getting a new laptop for graduation and its decent at games & i will be giving my pc to my little brother, so he will help pay for the card and PSU lol...lets just say that the score for my gaming graphics is 2.4 (thats what my pc says in the perfomance info) and the laptop i was looking at had a 3.6 or a 3.8. so it should play L4D better maybe not on max but atleast not on lowest. and if it can play that then INS should run just fine.
 
can someone give me a few laptops that can run L4D decent if not maxed, pick up at the store if possible (doesnt have to be) and is under $750.

i went to HPs website, and customized a tx2z series...is this any good for dcent gaming?

i just want to know about the graphics card, i can upgrade the RAM if needed. i asked about the Compaq they said it was good for games, not high end, but decent for most. that HP (the 1st one) that one looks like it will be good for L4D, INS, DODs and maybe LOTR conquest.
 
Yeah that MSI notebook reflex99 showed is a great buy, for laptop.
Remember you'll always do better with a desktop, especially if you build one yourself.

Still that MSI is great and great price for what you get and it looks good too!

I would recommend this one. I now got it in my new Gaming PC. And it runs most of my games on Full Graphich and is an Exelent gaming card in my toughts. Tought it got one DVI, one HDMI and one VGA. That makes it quiet usefull.

But also it is quiet. And runs smooth
 
well i really appreciate all you ppl's help but my parents have already bought me a laptop, so there is nothing i can do. but i will remember this thread when i look to buy a good one on my own in the future.
 
they got me a toshibal satellite. it cant play l4d maxed but it casn play it better than my desktop. oh and my graphics card says this "128mb with up to 1341mb total" how do i get it to have 1341mb?
 
it's just sharing the system memory. it does so automatically, and you wouldn't want it to take up 1341mb because then you'd have little system ram left!

His parents bought it for him. There was nothing he could do about it, im guessing. Also, he needs it to be mobile, hence laptop instead of desktop

p.s. im just assuming with this, hopefully im right so i dont look all bleh
 
If he had his own income...he could've spent his money on a PC of his choosing, instead of letting his parents dictate the terms.

Well, there you go. At least he now knows what not to do when it's time for another upgrade.

all of that is true, i am going to college so i need a laptop, and i dont have a job so i cant buy my own, but thats is about to change. i will just play games on it until i can get my own. :)
