Let me start off by saying that im not an emo kid and just happened to think about this after browsing the forums.

So what movie(s) have made you cry?

Only one movie has ever made me loose my stone-cold demeanor, and that movie was "The Land Before Time" theres a part where a baby dinosaur watches his mommy dinosaur die and i cried for like 15 minutes straight, yeah i was like 7 but still im getting all chocked up thinking about it!!! :crying:

umm, i cried once when i was like 5 or 6 in Lion King, when I understood that Mufasa (Simba's dad) was dead, it took my parents 2 full minutes to calm me down xD
never cried since, except maybe last summer when my eyes went wet while i was watching The Notebook with my g/f, but it wasn't the movie that was to blame for that, so i don't think it counts=p

I am a little older, and only saw this really old movie cause my father made me watch it.....and if you saw this movie you prolly would cry too...

"old yeller"

But since getting older and kinda being able to pick and choose the movies i watch, i have cried from only one...

Shawshank Redemption - the very end, when they meet up again.

I saw the movie "Pay It Forward" like a couple of years ago.
The ending is really sad and i started to cry then.

Well, ive not really seen any that ive cried too... or i just dont want to tell you :P

But i really want to watch Schiendlers List, i know its a very sad movie and i know i will probably cry if i did watch it.

i've cried from one movie..."Seven Pounds"
holy freakin hell thats a great movie though, but it just hit a little too close to home. I completely lost it during that film

I was going thru a VERY bad time of my life back in the early 90's (not going to go into that), but I saw "Legends of the Fall".

While not a SAD movie, paired with what was going on in real life, that movie made me start to cry.

Never cried at a film but three nearly made me cry

E.T, I saw as a nipper
One flew over the cuckoos nest
and
Kikujiro, right at the end where he tells the young boy his name. *sniffle*

Oh and also the Takashi Miike version of Happiness of the Katakuris,

These are the only films that got me close to blubbing

never cried in a movie b4
but omg my sis crys in like very single movie

I haven't broke down and cried during a movie or show in awhile. Usually though, I'll get choked up because its so happy.

Such as in BSG when they unveiled the name of the Stealth Raptor.

i would have to say this one movie Artificial Intelligence but that was only because i was like 9 but still, it happened :O

84 Charlie MoPic - I'm a vet so this movie really hits home to me. Very accurate depicition of how grunts act in combat, especially how they act between the shooting. I was in awe most of the movie and completely lost it at the end.

Plus a couple that come close:

Hamburger Hill - especially the scene were Doc says "**** all that duty, honor, country ****. He flanked that automatic weapon and took it out. And he did it for you, for me, and for 3rd squad. So don't you give him nothin' less."

When Trumpets Fade - Best movie no one has heard of.

thanks for the first flick ol'timer. i'm going to check it out!
