question

[!EpIc fAiL!]

i have noticed that some ppl have a link in there signature or in a post but its titled "add me to ur friend list" and it takes them to say their steam profile....how do i rename the link?

basically, click the icon which says "insert link" and smth like this should appear [ URL="http://www.randomsite.com"]http://www.randomsite.com
just rename the part between the square brackets ] and [, i.e. [ URL="http://www.randomsite.com"]THIS PART

What you want to link is this: steam://friends/add/76561197996858766

Right now, your link just takes you to your Steam page. That exact one above will actually automatically add you to the friends list.

It's the link location for the button on your Steam page that says "Add to Friends List."
