Sniper update info FROM VALVE!!!! (new unlockable revealed)

Looks great , i like the bow. It always surprises me how Valve comes up with all those original weapons.

They don't. Many of the unlockable weapons were made by community members who posted their ideas on the steam forum. For example, all of the Scout's newest toys are made by the community and used by Valve. The Huntsman has also been suggest SO many times (just like a crossbow).

Anyway, Pipeline looks pretty cool but I'm not too sure if I'm going to like playing on it yet. I love its skybox though. I do also enjoy seeing weather in TF2 eventhough it probably is going to drop my already crappy FPS even more.
However, I don't understand why everyone loves Nucleus so much. It doesn't seem to be that interesting to me. Most people won't ever play it anyway, since not many enjoy the arena gamemode.

The new maps look great, I'm especially liking sawmill, I'm into rainy cloudy weather like that, and to see it in game while running around would be pro.

Now that you guys mention ubers sticking to walls, it got me thinking. How epic would it look when you pin a krit/uber ready? You know how they have that awesome animation when you kill a medic with uber/kritz ready? Well imagine that but him pinned to a wall. :O

New update is out, apparently its a electric shield that stops 1 back stab

Not sure what weapon it replaces though.

Makes them able to get in the thick of the fight.

Either way, the SMG is kind of useless when you already have a medium-range weapon (bow) with you so you'll be wanting to use the shield.

So turn around and shoot them in the face while they're stunned.

Either Valve is messing with us or they meant the butterfly knife which the spy already holds.

They are just remarking on how horribly made the shield is saying it can't stop a butter knife, they meant to say it, it is a joke.

I like this because I have an aboriginal shield very similar to this (without the car battery), going to be fun!

Having the shield slows you down, this makes it out to be more of a camping weapon to go with the normal sniper rifle for far off battles, a medium range sniper would need mobility and would probably forgo the shield for whatever weapon it replaces, be that smg or kukri.

How could you say so with absolutely no fact at all. It only said the Spy gets an electric chock, that doesn't have to mean he's getting stunned. :huh:
