I'm getting a tribal sleeve on my right arm. I put together some tribal tattoos. All of them have meanings. What do you guys think?

Oh. They're actually going to be placed on my arm one right after the other. The top on is going on my shoulder and onto my chest. The second is going right under it. Slightly above my elbow. The third is going below the elbow followed by the last one which will be my wrist.

Err. I have to pull up the site name somewhere. But it has the descriptions of all the tattoo's and meanings and stuff.

Never been a fan of tribals, but those are better looking ones than most.

thats sick bro.

i like the bracelet the best.
I've got 4 thick/solid black tribals. but i have them so i can cover them with a standard t-shirt if i choose. 3/4 have meaning. though the one that doesn't is still cool :P

look Aztec/ Mien looking.. Something South American Indian group. Very cool looking.. But remember with a full sleeve your going to have to cover them up at work(unless you have a awesome job) I am not to sure but with tattoos below the elbow your not allowed into the marines(like I said not to sure about that one).

Yeh, personally I don't really like any tattoos :\ but I guess for tattoos they're ok, be sure to decide if you'll regret them later of course :P

I like the first one, for like the shoulder and u can cover it all the way to ur back with that circle on top(left), not really a big fan of tribal but those look sweet!

I like the 3rd one. When I was in Hawaii I got a tattoo and I was going to get a band but the dude at 808 said when I finally fill my arm that band would make it look like everything is separate and not together.

The reason I picked all those was because seperate they mean bits of my personality. Together they tell the story of my life. I work at walmart and they don't care what is on your body. Just what you're wearing lol

That, J-Wall, is because most Tribal tattoos now-a-days are more like "tribal" tattoos. Dont really stay true to their roots. But these ones that NFI is getting look like they are the real deal. Very awesome you found some authentic ones and hopefully a place that will do them just the way they are and not try to put their own spin on them. Cuz I know a few places that would. And I must admit when I first read the name of this thread I was kind of nervous, cuz I thought someone was putting more modern looking tribal tattoos as a sleeve and not more authentic ones. But you proved me wrong NFI, and so I thank you in restoring my faith in the tattooing community a bit. :)

P.S. It's good you picked tattoos with meaning instead of just "they looked cool"-cuz that is the worst reason to get a tattoo. Much luck to you and plz post the finished and, if you can, the in-progress pictures. Cuz I love the whole tattooing process.

Lol, on Halloween the greeter/receipt-checker-if-the-beeper-goes-off wore black clothes, a gold belt (like from wrestling), facepaint iirc, and a baseball bat. It was pretty funny. Don't try to sneak anything past that guy.

I think it looks cool man! I'm not really big on tribals but these one where pretty cool!

Any tattoo that I put on my body has meaning to me in some sort of way. Putting a tattoo on your body with the reason. "It looks cool" is the wrong way to go. Your body is the canvas and you have a chance to paint your life, your heritage, and your dreams. That is the way I look at it. These tribals not only represent my life, but it represents me. I'm pacific islander and finding tribals that represent my heritage as well as my story seems like a double wammy to me. I'm also native american. So on my left forearm is a tattoo of a dream weaver. Inlaced in the threads of the web is beads as you would see in most traditional dream catchers. Each color is actually represents the color of my tribe. Crow creek suioux.

Here is a good question. If you guys had a chance to get a tattoo, any tattoo that had meaning to you in some sort of way. What would it be?

P.S. When the process begins I'll make sure to post pictures after every sitting.
