Oh yeah, I agree with you on the 9mm. I got the 40 from a friend who just got the gun, but wanted a 3" for CCW carry, so I got this one (the second, fixed series) for less. $300 if I recall. I believe it's an 07'. He had the rear of the floating barrel shaved down a bit, so it's smooth as silk. Still has a hard pull, but practice compensates for that. Love the 40 round though. Lot's of power.

I lived in Nevada, a friend of mine had a full auto Uzi .Lots of fun, the 100 round drum for the AK was fun too.

Living in Nevada with plenty of ammo money would be so much fun! You're right, that's a great price on a firearm. .40 is one of my favorite rounds to shoot, too. It was actually a tough choice for me when I decided to purchase my first semi-auto (I had a couple of revolvers back then).

I've had the privileged of firing the Storm and was not too impressed by it. A 9mm in a 15rnd mag. Overall length of 31.5" Personally I can't see any thing that I would want to do with the Storm that my AR can't handle. Yes the Storm is 4" shorter and has a larger round giving it that slight edge in CQB, but with the extreme versatility of the AR platform, I'm happy with my AR.

Thats just me, I am a marksman/sniper at heart. So any thing CQB is not too interesting to me.

I have a Ruger P91DC .40 cal. I really enjoy .40 cal as well. With some Gold Dot Hollow points it has some good stopping power. I really would like to pick up an AR15 or M4 but they're just a little expensive for my budget right now. I'm really looking into a .22lr Colt M4 it's a lot cheaper than it's big brother. The .22lr runs only like $600.
