i was helping someone sign up here on eGO and he made an account, but he hasnt got his email confirmation yet so he cant post in forums, can someone help, its been 1 day since he made the account.

has he check all of his folders in his e-mail?

don't you have to make sure when you sign up you have the box checked for, receive emails from administrators...or else that confirmation email won't be received?

If that doesn't get through, he may have mis-typed his email address.

i asked and he said he went to his email, copied his address and pasted it in the email box, and then clcik resend and it still hasnt come, the box is checked to recieve emails from admins

Have him look in his emails spam folder.

i asked he said it isnt in either folder, is b/c he has a bellsouth email? cause i got mine as soon as i made my account and im using yahoo.

maybe his email is blocking it try adding the address to the allowed list or address book [email protected] thats wat i got for an address to the confirm email

thanks for the help the issue is fixed. it was bellsouth, he made a yahoo account and it sent.
