Can't connect to eGO servers

Does anybody know why I am not able to connect to ANY of the eGO TF2 servers? One time, I waited in line and finally got a chance to connect. It loaded everything, and right before I saw the server's splash screen, it disconnected and said "Server too full. The game was already launched, btw. Now I can't connect to a server at all. It just waits and waits and people go in before me. I asked Roxy to connect to the server in question, and she got in before me, even though I'd been waiting for 30 mins. Later she got disconnected with the same "Server too full" message, mid-game.

In summary, I can't connect to any of the Edge servers, but I can connect to all the other servers out there on the internet. All of my ports are forwarded correctly, yada yada.

Is this only TF2?

If it is, it's just because of how full the servers have been lately because of the update. People have been waiting forever to get in. I've gotten to the splash page and gotten booted from the server because it was full a couple times as well. And other people will get in before you. It's not based on how long you've been waiting. The lower your ping the more likely you'll get in. Good luck!

So auto-join doesn't matter? Roxy is in the next room, so our pings are the same (basically). I feel that something is wrong, because I can't get into ANY of the Edge servers, even after waiting 30+ minutes.

30+ minutes is no exaggeration either.

Xeno when you get the message that server is full is because you started to connect to it but someone with a better connection made it through faster than you. Since the server has no place to put you in it kicks you out and you have to try again with the auto join or alert when open slot. The servers have been at an all time high due to not only the free trial weekend which is now over with but the new update where players are constantly playing. As of late we have been cracking down on AFKs and Spectators to allow players like yourself into the server to enjoy the game.

Some tips to help you out would be: 1. Get on vent with us and ask us if there is any room. Any AFKs to kick and make room. 2. Have multiple queues in auto join and remember to close the remaining once you do get in the server.

As to why Roxy connects faster then you could be a router issue where it prioritizes her computer over yours. That is the only thing I can think of.

this is most likly because of free weekend , its now over , all should be well.

I tend to mash the "Join Game" button for 5 minuites and get in...

Protip: Remember to have a good mouse. I think I broke my crummy one doing just this over the competition for slots over the free weekend :/
