Need help!

Uh oh, i tried using that Driver Sweeper Program and I tried to delete the old nVidia drivers, and i think I deleted something i wasn't supposed to! My internet is not working, i remember something about ethernet, maybe a driver, if thats what happened what do i do?! I'm posting this from a different computer.

go to your devise manager and see if anything has a ! next to it

Yes there are some !'s only under "Other Devices", the devices include:
-Other PCI Bridge Device
-PCI Device
-PCI Simple Communications Controller
-SM Bus Controller
-Video Controller (VGA Compatible)

So what do i do, are any of these the problem?
My computer was a Vista till this afternoon and I changed it to Windows XP thinking it would fix the problem! Silly me.

you should get those fixed, try upgrading them, right click and update driver

right, get your mobo driver cd and reinstall it, sounds like your ethernet driver has been uninstalled

Download it on any computer that connects and put it on a disc or flash drive and install.

Who ever made your adapter has a site for downloads.

go to your motherboards manufacture site and there should be drivers to download

You could just use system restore if you have a newer restore point. I think that will work.

We'll have to know either
Your computer make/model
or if you built it yourself
Your motherboard model number

In order to know what ethernet controller you have.
I'd venture a guess that "PCI Simple Communications" Is your network card.
Right click it, and go to update driver. There should be an option to search your computer for software if you're running Vista.

See if you have any devices under "Network Adapters", if you do, then missing drivers for your network adapter is not the problem.

Ok guys, i fixed it! I had just rememberd that I had a D-Link wireless. Using its internet i was able to search for the driver updates at update manager, the nightmare is over. Back on my computer

i dont where you can find it bot seach on google?
seach fore you driver name and then update and see if you can find some things
