Star Wars: The Old Republic

looks awsome

an mmo based in the kotor universe would be sweet. one thing im dissappointed in and fearful of is that their will be no kotor 3 and the only way to experience the final part of the story is through this mmo which will probably cost a lot, per month. if bioware actually makes kotor 3 then i will be happy.

not more than 15 usd. not to bad counting how much you play it compared to other forms of entertainment. Movies at the theaters are now like 10 bucks a head for 2 hours. Football game for about 40-100+ per head for 3-4 hours. In comparison its really not bad.
 
Mt friend was raving about this game. I wasn't all that impressed until i saw the trailer. It looks pretty interesting and i am definitely looking forward to it. But i can't help remembering how bad SW:G was. :facewall: I hope they do much better this time.
 
I went to their site and saw Developer interview videos. The game looks amazing. Gameplay wise also. Some parts of it remind me of a mixture between WoW Graphics, and TF2 Graphics. When I mean TF2, I mean the Environment. It looks a bit similar. Then with...Upgraded WoW Models.

If I used a bad Graphics example, Sorry. I know there are haters for WoW.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. I hope to God it's not Pay to Play. It should be Buy retail game, Then play for free. Much like Guild Wars.

I've got a feeling we'll have to pay for the game a bunch of times, but we can keep hoping :\

AMEN! I have been let down so many times because I thought a game trailer looked awesome and then the game came out and it sucked.

BUT I do have to say this game is looking really good. I have seen all the dev vidoes that they have released and the game looks good. But I would like to see some solid game play.
 
I dont get excited about things until there about to start... but looks cool. : )
 
Ill deffinatally have a jedi but this smuggler class looks fun. Hope they do more over it next friday.
 
I already have a lot of friends hopefully playing this game with me, it dosent look like that big of a grind so it wont take over my life and become the only game I play. If it means playing it full time forget it, I wont give up tf2.
 
ya i dont think it will take too much grinding. Considering alot of the time spent will be spent on the story line.
 
They should try to make the game less like a normal mmorpg like WoW. 36 dmg, Parry, Miss, Miss, Dodge, 60 dmg, etc = Boring. btw, I' going to be a sith, I don't know what class I will choose. I heard that You have to pay every month, like WoW, to play the game.

Ya they already have a few MMORPG firsts like, its fully voiced so that every NPC and player character will have their own voice. And its extremely story based. So hopefully more MMORPG firts comming soon :P

Pretty much every good game that isnt instance base(GW) costs a montly fee.
Btw, more on the smuggler class this friday.
