About a 1/4th chance every 25 minutes. And yes, this means the average player will get one hat about every 2 weeks.

Conclusion:
>All non hat items have the same drop chance ~5.5%

>Each individual hat has a 0.05% chance to drop.
>All hats together have a (9 hats a 0.05% = ) 0.45% drop chance.
>Means: Every 222th drop is a hat.

I take refuge in the fact that I, hopefully am an average player and will oneday get a hat.

I play in a week the same amount an average player plays in a month. I've recieved over sixty unlocks since the update and yet none of them are hats. :facewall:

i play atleast 4 hours a day since it's summer and no school. but i usually play 6-8 hours a day so i should have a good chance of getting one i have bunches of everything still no hats yet.

I dunno what tyhe average is but according to Steam, I play about 30 hours/week...Ever since the hats came out, I've gotten about 20 Dead Ringers, tons of Sandmans, a bunch of FaNs (4 in a 24 hour period once :/), and a bunch of other junk I won't use. It's been...3 weeks, alomst 4 since the update came out, no? Note: July 15th is today, and I don't remember when the update done come out.

I don't have a hat yet I'm just waiting to get the trading update out. I think there is supposed to be trading hat's what I heard, but correct me if I'm wrong. I'll just wait for someone to trade me a hat for a weapon.
