Good RPG

As long as i dont have to pay monthly cause i think thats a waste, im up for any MMO.

How is Guild Wars? No Monthly fee required and the trailer looks good. Anyone played it?

Every MMO that fits your wants is probably going to cost monthly...
Try EVE online... $15/mo but very addicting...

Trust me, paying for a MMO is by no means a "waste". You will be playing this game for a very long time, and the payments get you huge content updates. The p2p MMOs usually turn out much better than the ones that dont and will keep you around longer.

are you looking for a sorwd and sheild kind of game or just any non-modern kind of game, because Gun is pretty good. it's awild west game.

Baldurs Gate 1 and 2, Icwind Dale 1 and 2.
These are the best RPG's ever made. Period.

Moreover you can buy all four at once cheaply in a pack.
The graphics are nothing fancy, though they were good for their time.

i wanna stay close to a mideival setting. like oblivion was.

I love Bows:)

FF12 was IMO, the worst FF ever. Kudos to you for getting half-way through it.

You might be interested in Final Fantasy Tactics (my personal favorite FF). The combat is a lot different than the other FF's and it's more of a strategy-RPG. It's got a good story, and plenty of interesting characters.

One thing you might not like about it is it's graphics. It originally came out for the first Playstation. So don't expect Oblivion-caliber graphics. Although, the did remake it for the PSP with a better translated script, more classes, more stuff , etc...if you have a PSP however..

Forsure if you own an Xbox, Get Fable 1/2 and get Mass Effect. Their both the best RPG's I've ever played.

I'd recommmend Kings quest: Mask of eternity. It's a story driven puzzle/rpg game and to me it's one of the best rpg games ever made. It's made in -98 so the graphics won't fit your standards but movement/combat is very much like oblivion. Try it, I think you'll like it.

P.S. Paying for MMOs is a big waste. In the end they are all the same.

Oblivion and Morrowind are two of my favorite RPG's, both of which I put well over 250 hours into.

One game you should definitely check out, though, is The Witcher. The game has a great storyline that is completely dynamic, based on the choices you make in-game. If you're a western RPG fan, it's one game you shouldn't miss. (And the graphics are pretty sweet, too!).

If you are looking for something a little different, you might want to try a JRPG for kicks... Unfortunately pickings are slim on the PC platform, though I heard The Last Remnant was pretty good. If you have a PS2, however, definitely go out and get yourself Final Fantasy X. It's style is quite different from the TES games, but I love it just as much, and have easily put over 150 hours into it.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 (aka the Sith Lords), Mass Effect, The Witcher, almost forgot, Neverwinter Nights 2 (including Mask of the betrayer, Mysteries of Westgate and Storm of Zehir add-ons). Those are serious, real RPG's, that everyone has to play and will enjoy.

If you like slasher RPG's, try Titan Quest with Immortal Thrones add-on.

P.S. yeah, I love RPG's

P.S.S. Also, I heard really good things about Darkensang: The Dark Eye

P.S.S.S. Also, if you have Xbox 360, try Fable 2

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic its as old as oblivion and I thought it was better. There seemed to be more arcade play to the game. It's real cheap to buy now and graphics are good.
