We have been kicking around ideas for those who want to donate to the server. Would it be easier to donate thru PayPal (requiring a credit card or bank account) or by just sending a card with some cash in it?

i have no clue, the thing is i dont have a credit card or a bank account so yea....

I cant use paypal because my parents are realy prtective about using it online. I vot send cash.

i would really rather use cash its just easy i can put in envelope and let the snail mail do the rest.

Bleh. Something happens with paypal, money and ip addresses can be tracked. Something happens to your money via post office, you're out of luck. I vote for paypal, it's just easy to type in a password and click the amount you want to send. No need to pollute the air taking one envelope to the post office.

I will indeed pollute and take one more envelope to the post office. When you are on the other side of the information technology desk and have to help clients that have had identity theft happen to them, one tends to get careful.

Everyone can do as they like.

Indeed they can. All I said was there's no insurance against money lost via snail mail than with paypal and it doesn't require making a trip for it. Never said people couldn't do it. I just think if it's a poll between the two, proper reasoning should be addressed as well. Everyone else got to put in their comments on the issue, I should be allowed as well. That and the people that don't have a cc or bank account(nothing personal against them), one has to wonder how many will actually mail in cash instead.

To the little jab about identity theft, reverting back to old ways isn't a long term solution to new problems.

I never said, cash. Postal orders are the besr. One should NEVER, EVER send cash in the mail.

I stand partially corrected, I was just going off of what the others were saying.

I send cash all the time. Not more than 100 bucks but i fave sent 100 dollar bills np.
