Rock2 from TFC

Does anyone remember this map? I would pay money in a update to be able to see this map remade for TF2. Anyone else feel the same way?

I don't know that valve could make the map 100% like the old one or that anyone could. It'd still be nice to think about. I may have to boot up some tfc to remember it...

Miss those. I also miss the original well - it was a lot more fun IMO.

i think the original well gameplay would be a lot different with the current game dynamic, but I agree.

Yea my map there is inspired by rock2. It doesn't have the gas chamber gameplay. There is a version not done by me that does do the gas chamber thing. However, I and others don't think it works very well with TF2. The new design of the classes and focus on teamwork make alot of the old tfc maps not work like they used to.

Also. I am starting on a map that will be inspired in part by avanti. After looking at avanti I don't think that map would play well with TF2 as it was. But I am working on remaking it similarly to how dustbowl was remade. As well as looking into changing it to suit a payload map.

I played on a TFC Well map for TF2 just this past week. It wasn't all to bad. it looked just like the TFC version, the game play was not the best but I think that was due to the fact the teams were "not the best" or even halfway good.

I guess the original TFC didn't force teamwork in the same way TF2 does. I'd still love Valve to make a map that makes it work.

Well Warpath from TFC basically worked the same way as Warpath on TF2. But I would love to see Rock2, it was one of my favorite TFC maps...

The TFC Well in TF2 even has the green water... All of those maps you all have been listing are already made, and play VERY well whenever the teams are even.

I have never played TFC (gasp! OMG blasphemy!) But I would enjoy playing those old maps I hear so much about on TF2.
