**Emergency help with steam!**

I could use some extreme help with steam.

When I try to open it, it says "Connecting to steam account: xxxxxx"

So then it opens up the program, and then closes its-self 10 seconds later.


Could someone please help me?

I had that same problem, 2 days ago. I deleted my blob & other various steam files, nothing seemed to fix it. Ended up uninstalling everything, deleting the steam folder & doing a fresh install. That fixed it up, but its a time consuming fix :< If you take this route, make sure to save your settings & condumps & such before deleting

just unistall steam than delete everything in your steam folder excluding the steamapps folder and contents
