Ya, but the problem is anyone can lie and say they are 18 when they are really 11. I was thinking perhaps an "admin scenario of the week" type of question where the person has to write in an answer and submit it with their application. We could have a stock of questions to use (we only really have to use one with each application) and this would allow us to judge a) their comprehensiveness b) common sense and c) maturity when dealing with issues. We already have admins answering these questions why not extend them to new members too?

This sounds like an excellent idea and all, but when your recruiting people like to have an easy time applying. It took me a few days after looking at the web page til I even attempted to turn in my application. I guess what I'm trying to get across is that I don't think someone wanting to become a member wants to take a test... Maybe I didn't read through your post all that well... :closedeyes: :huh:
I love the idea though, just don't know if its a good "Welcome to eGO"
