Dlink vs. Linksys?

Thread poster - I'd go with Linksys. Dlink has the votes, but only a couple of people have actually explained why they have voted for dlink.

From personal experience I will never buy another Dlink router. I have had to many problems with them in the past. My main concerns were constant signal degradation and even dropping the wireless connections. Random restarts and even had one router that would overheat. Ever since I switched to my Linksys WRT54G I have not had any issues. I also like the ease of installing and running 3rd party firmware (I use DD-WRT) and there are a lot of options out there for modifying the Linksys routers to suit your needs.
