Most amount of money found at one time?

Found $25 at work in a bowling alley once. I used to find money in there all the time, but lately my luck has been down.

When I was in High School we went on a Radio/TV field trip to New Mexico for a convention. We went to an arcade and I found a wallet that had $500 bucks in it. The guys was from Nebraska. Anyways, it had his hotel key in it and he happen to be staying at a hotel that was down the street from ours. So I went to the hotel and gave it to the guy at the front desk and he called the guy down to get his wallet. As soon as the guy said "ok, he is on his way down", I left. Never saw the guy or nothing. Was a great feeling.

I found a $300 winning scratch-lottery ticket, and since I am under 18 I couldn't turn it in, so I let my Dad do it and he didn't give me any of it... Grr...

no i found 60 on the street the 2000 in 50's was my that i forgot about for over a year and olny found when i got a new house and moved

This does not change how i feel.. How the hell do you "forget" about $2k? I lost $10 one time and spent the next 4 hours turning the house upside down

i found approx. 2k in a wallet, but i returned it to the guy, who lived a state away from me.....didn't even say thank you, just said, "thought i lost playing poker in the casino.."
yes i found it in the parking lot of a casino...

Someone once dropped a clip with a good $500 in it. Too bad I'm an honest man, he was pulling out of the store driveway and I was able to signal him and give it back to him. If he had driven away I'd have something more than just 100$ in my bank. Curse my decency.
