Yeah, I have the same skin, except a darker metal material.
 
Same here McMeow. Also who here has tried out the custom victory music that i made?

Edit: Has anyone had this problem where the Allied Assault Character has the Axis sleeves. Heres some screen shots.

I had the same problem with the Allied soldier having the axis sleeves, I reinstalled my player skins to fix that, it worked, you can try it, it was kind of a pain to do, but it irritated me to see my allied character had axis sleeves.

Where can I find the link to your custom victory music?
 
If you could teach me how to reinstall my players skins that would be awsome. I can always re-download the skins i have ya know?

You have to delete the whole 'hands' folder and download your skin pack again
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\account\day of defeat source\dod\materials\models\weapons\v_models\hands
After you delete that folder, just put your new sleeves in there in a new folder called 'hands' and you should be good to go.
If this doesn't work, than your sleeves may be renamed wrong.
 
i have the Fallschirmj?ger skins for my German side. that's all. i like it because all the characters are unique and different unlike the normal skins.
 
I have all the skins I want except a Lee Einfield Scoped rifle for the springfield, which no one has made :(
 
Mystery Penguin, if your willing to i can teach you the basics of skinning. They also have tutorials on FPS banana for it, or you can Google skinning tutorials.

Its not skinning its modeling I'm worried about, I could easily get all the things I need for skinning, but I don't know how to do models.
 
This skins are just amazing. They make Day of Defeat turn into a new game that may rival today's games in visuals.

The only problem with it is that the reload animation doesn't finish, it cuts out halfway through, I have gotten used to it though.

I replaced my K98K with a Gewehr 43 Skin, it was different and I feel like I do better with it.

I replaced my STG44 with a FG42 Skin.

This was an amazing change, I hated the STG44 Design and if was perfect way to replace it! I wasn't too much a fan of the sound, but I got used it it.

I replaced my grenades (on both sides) with these much higher quality skins, I love the sounds as well.

I have much more skins but none else that almost change the model completely, I had really great player skins for both sides but cannot find them on the website anymore, I also recently tried out a new skin and screwed up my previous one and cannot figure out how to get it to work again :chair:.

YOU GUYS DO REALIZE THAT MOST OF THE SKINS ON FPSBANANA.COM HAVE LASER SIGHTS RIGHT? I KNOW SOME SERVERS ALLOW IT AND SOME DO NOT. IM NOT SURE ABOUT eGO SEVERS BUT, JUST PLAY FAIR AND DONT USE SKINS IF YOUR NOT SURE THEY HAVE LASER AIMING DONT USE THEM!!!!

Nate, there is no rule against skins in eGO. There is a post in the DoD General forums showing two rifle skins that have red dot scopes on them. Its also none of our business what skins people use. Its not hacking and not scripting.

i know there is no rule against skins but there is a rule against skins with laser sights. which means if it shoots a red laser when you shoot its illegal. which i have seen some in the strand server with the m1's and sniper rifles. they make you hit better and you can tell when a person has one because after they shoot there is a red line where the bullet path was.

Oh, im sorry. I was confused by what u meant by laser sights. My apologies. If someone is using a laser sight get an eGO to perma ban him please.
