how can i make my usb mouse and key board work when i plug them into the front slots of my computer and not just the back usb slots? idk how this stuff works >.<

Did you build your rig?

If so, is the connector for the USB plugs connected to the Mobo?

Test plugging something else USB into those ports.

A USB key would likely be the quickest, but a printer, scanner, headset, anything.

If nothing is being registered through the ports, follow what Phlame said.

You already know the mouse works so we definitely know it's not that.

Yeah, usually there'll be a cable running from your motherboard to the inside of the front of your case where they connect to a small PCB board for your USB slots.

If they are connected, you might have to check if they're connected correctly, or it may just be that you need to install USB drivers which you can usually find at your motherboard manufacturer's website.
