Far Cry 2 and Crysis Problems

Well I have had Far Cry 2 for quite sometime now and after about 45mins of playing the campaign only the campaign, my game crashes and there are no warning signs or pop-ups. It is very annoying because i constantly have to quick save and it makes me not wanna play the game anymore. I have an HD 4650 with new drivers installed.

Crysis Problem: Everytime i load Crysis up i cannot load a saved game without my game crashing. It Crashes everytime i click on a saved game to load it. I can play online and start a new game just fine however. It is very irritating:chair: so any help would be greatly appreciated. THanks

I've had issues with this, Usually weird issues arise when i dont clean my old drivers properly... i use driver cleaner pro, after restarting in safe mode, then restart, install new drivers in safe mode, restart in regular mode, reinstall new driver..

with the farcry problem it sounds like your GPU is overheating. i would open up your case and blow/vacuum all the dust out.

I had a problem with similar symptoms when I first bought Far Cry 2. What fixed the problem was a update of chipset drivers.

With Crysis, I had that problem on Warhead. To fix it I had to restart the whole game, but in the appropriate mode. I run 64 bit Vista, so I had to run the game in 64 mode.

Just in case you don't know, chipset drivers are seperate from your video card drivers. You can usually find the ones you want at your motherboard manufacturer's website.
