TF2 buy now or later?

i got my TF2 for $20 at a GameStop. (that was like back in Oct.. <.<)

he's not kidding, i can't remember how many times i've been stabbed by this guy.


on topic, i got the orange box for like 20, but i would definitely pay more for it. if you can just hold out for one of the new updates, it should go %50 off again.

He's being honest. KillerTofu (Aidan) is who got me hooked to TF2. Thank you for the back up though, Mr. Adam. I'm happy to see active watchful admins. :biggrin:

ON TOPIC: Thank everyone who gave advice, I'm going to wait another week to see if I can get it on sale. Thanks!
 
the current prices are 29.99$ for orangebox and 19.99$ for TF2

i would go for orangebox cause the extra 10 get you 4 more games and if you allready ahve hl2 and ep 1 and 2 you could gift them to a friends in exchange for help buying the package.
 
hl2 rocks like scotch on ice dude. Not to mention all the mods out there for it, you get like 50 free online fps games. Some of them are actually playable!

The orange box is amazing
You get portal and TF2 as well as the HL2 series
If you have a spare ?16 it is well worth buying.
And no, I have never seen The Orange Box go on sale.

Dude, even if you don't plan to play HL2 though... You still get Portal as well. $30 for the entire orange box is a steal. DO IT!

You're missing the original point to the message.. I am $8k in student loans as it is.. My g/f is already telling me not to even spend $10 on a game...
 
I would wait for the 10 dollar sale, but you will have to wait a few months probably. :(

Orange Box was on sale for $10 for a couple of days or so. Talk about a steal... I got an extra copy/account. Don't hold your breath for that deal any time soon, though.

tbh with all the new developers putting content on steam I would expect tf2 to be on sale later rather than sooner
 
For a game this awesome, I don't see the reason not to shell out 20 bucks. I'd rather get it now then wait for a sale. Best $20 you'll ever spend. Period.
