Those Humiliating Spy Deaths

Okay so I thought it would be fun to create a thread where we could share your favorite kills as Spy or your most humiliating death by a spy. You could even include screen shots or videos if you'd like.

Now as a Spy Player, I have had many a fair stab at the exposed backsides of the opposition, and many of which I had quite the challenge achieving. I'd like to share with you a personal favorite of mine.

Sprays can be fun, used to show off your insignia or just share a few laughs, but they can also be used as a weapon. I personally have achieved such a feat. By spraying my spray (the spray consisted of a long list) in front of the spawn area of my foes, I was able to cloak nearby and watch as an unsuspecting opponent, that had just stepped out of the spawn, took the time to stop and view the list. Unfortunately for them, I was watching, and uncloaked, just as a nearby pyro spotted me and turned to confront me, I had already implanted my knife deep into the spinal column of the poor soul. I of course burned to death, but it was entirely worth it.

Now, of course I have also been humiliated by spies as well. As much as I enjoy my profession, I understand that it could also be used against me. One of my more humiliating deaths was when a spy and me got into a knife fight, but much to my stupidity, stepped forward and kept running without drawing my dead ringer, and was promptly taken out with a swift stab to my back. I always hate it when I'm back stabbed by a spy when I'm a spy. It's always humiliating to me :crying:

Anyways, enough of my rambling. Please share your favorite kills and humiliating deaths at the hands of the elite core that are spies.

With alltalk on, running behind people stabbing them and muttering "Not a spy, definately a pyro."

Thats my favorite, I had fun doing that definately.

I tried getting revenge on someone who kept taunting after killing me. I killed him with one rocket and taunted. Little did I know he was a Dead-Ringer spy. So I was back-stabbed mid-taunt.

I was a spy, and the soldier i was about to backstab rocket jumped while i was following him. And he killed me while trying to rocket jump. Same thing happend with a demoman sticky jumping.

I'm sniper, on hoodoo.
Waiting for the enemy to come arunnin around the corner so I can headshot him.
Fully charged.
Ready.
CRIKEY an enemy!
M1 button.
Spy screams.
Plummets to earth, stone-dead.
In front of my still warm feet.
Intended enemy not dead.

Can't remember if they raged.

The scout was low on health and I killed him with the first two swings of the knife.

I also killed a pyro that came around a corner with my taunt, my teamate blocked him so he couldn't run xD

I just loved going around on Gravelpit backstabbing Zero711 over and over. :biggrin: I got some really epic kills, especially since he knew I was gunning for him and he kept watching his back. xD So I'm on one of the little roofs at "A", and I see him walking underneath me fighting some dudes. So I uncloak, jump onto his head, backstab him, and proceed to get an achievement and a domination! I was in exultation.

I would have to say my best kill was in Black Mesa and i came out of my spawn and went into our vents just as i went around the corner i shot my gun and got a head shot on a scout who was running through. I was so shocked when i kill him but i also laughed so hard.

I get a certain satisfaction out of sniping snipers with my ambassador. More so when they keep going back to the same spot and I do it all over again, and again.

I'm running cloaked from Gravelpits RED Spawn, I go into the first room to the left, the same room a scout is about to run out of, of course I dodge him like a real gentleman. BUT the Scout decides to FaN Jump up for C. So he jumps and shoots to get some height and of course the shot is a crit which hits me in the face. Boom dead. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH was my reaction.

What about killing 5 people in a row when their backs were turned in the Turbine vents.

My most humiliating spy backstabs have been:
- Anyone waiting on a teleporter
- Heavy eating a sandwich
- Sniper who feels he needs to taunt after his kill
- Running between uber medic/heavy, taking the uber, stabbing heavy
- Any kill while being healed by enemy medic
- Fully charged medic about to deploy charge
- Anyone just exiting spawn
- Anyone just coming through a teleport
- A heavy or soldier that has walked a marathon to the front line and never gets to fire a shot
- Any scout or pyro
- Undisguising behind engie dispensor and watching engie get killed by own gun
- Getting on engie's head, stabbing engie, then sapping all his stuff
- Sapping teleport entrance, then stabbing engie as he returns to make new teleport
- Anyone who didn't realize 4 of his buddies just got stabbed and he's next in line

Heres something thats really funny to do.

Find an enemy and jump on his head, If you land on the right spot and then backstab him, for some reason, the ragdoll will bodyslam you on the ground and make you commit suicide.

I don't know how but I do it often for a good laugh.

Well, because of .:Cake:., I got killed yesterday after I sapped his sentry and his dispenser, I was killed trying to sap his teleporter exit, and someone teleported, so it killed me, .:cake:. got the kill and also a revenge. FML

My spy favorite kill? I got 6 back stabs literally doing nothing but camping a lone teleporter exit. The best part was one of the guys was twice in a row.

Also the sneaky spy taunt kill tactic of starting fencing and cloaking is a great way for taking out a poorly set up engineering placement.

My worse spy death? I was doing the normal jumping from the roof and stabbing people when a pyro caught on. I was jumping off a roof again to get the pyro when i got caught on fire and juggled with compression blast till i burned to death, something i usually like doing to other people.

I'm normally a fairly good spy, knowing how to take out SGs and use friendly disguises a lot...

I went into an enemy base where I knew there was a sentry farm.... nobody saw me enter!

So I cloak and go right in, and to my amazement, there's no engi at the farm! they're all away... So i uncloak forgetting I'm disguised as a friendly demo and....

I'm normally a fairly good spy, knowing how to take out SGs and use friendly disguises a lot...

I went into an enemy base where I knew there was a sentry farm.... nobody saw me enter!

So I cloak and go right in, and to my amazement, there's no engi at the farm! they're all away... So i uncloak forgetting I'm disguised as a friendly demo and....

or standing on top of an enemy dispenser, stab-and-sap and engy's gear, only to forget that there's an enemy sentry behind you = flying rag doll.

On BlackMesa, I've gotten really good at jumping down from high places right into someone's back. The catwalks above A and the support beam over the routes to L and C are great places to leap and stab someone in the back while in midair.
