Disable the windows key!

I went on a thread just and it gave me an idea to start a thread to make your gaming lives so much easier.

Haven't you ever wanted to disable the dreaded Windows Key? :cursing::facewall::chair:I know I had my share of experiences where I pressed the stupid key and gotten killed for it. SO suggest you disable it unless you have a real use for it. I didn't, I say go for it.

If you want to keep at least one then download the corresponding reg key then. It's really simple and takes one step and one restart. You can use the windows key now for a ptp button on vent or something else you had in mind.

OR, alternatively you can spend 100 bucks to disable the key and get a whole bunch of other keys you won't ever use

I like the old g15. If I ever upgrade my keyboard I'd get a zboard. But even still that looks like something you can buy off of Toys R' Us.

Yeah, I had the old one, but I spilled one too many drinks on it late-night gaming. I kind of prefer the new one, better backlight and the led screen doesn't take up as much space.

its much more embarrassing accidently pressing that since its so far away from the keys we normally use

go to console. type:

unbind f10


and dont worry about it again.

You could also run in windowed mode with noborder in tf2. I don't know if its relevant, but just a tip for those who don't know already.

Windows key? Really?

I NEVER hit that key while I play. Since I set my voice chat key to ALT and the scoreboard to TAB, though, I have similar problems... :facewall:

i acctually use all the keys on my g15 ! so ha ande its only 59.99

Hmm My Mac laptop doesnt have this windows key you are speaking of....

That's no longer the default close key.
