ok, ummmmmmm, let me try to break this down this time. this is fatty's computer science for dummies :3

did YOU, meaning YOURSELF install the games on YOUR computer? if so, then you are the so called 'admin', because you have the right to be able to install and uninstall games, software, and what ever it is on your computer.

lets say you want to limit the use of certain things on your computer (such as games, websites, est) to others, then that would be a limited user.

now, lets say if you go out, and you do not want to allow anyone else to access your data and sort, do you notice you can create more then one login's on your computer? some people put passwords on their login to prevent others from using their account. but others create two logins, one for themselves, and one for guests to use. the guests cant use all the programs that owner uses, they are only limited to what the owner put into that login (although it is really o use the owners progras anyway -_-)

the LAST part im not really sure, but the first two is what i think hes trying to ask us. if you guys still dont get it, good god, please help us all. lol

Run it under administrator.
That way if something goes wrong you dont need to switch accounts.

Yea I get it now.

If you have your own computer (you bought it yourself) then the first account you make is Administrator.

Ok, I run on admin. My parents got eaten by giant pandas a long time ago so I don't have the parent units to deal with.

Its kind of sad how many people dont understand this
either way, most run under adminstrators unless its like your parents computer or something.
Its my computer so ya im adminstrator.

Still im curious as to why you wana know...

This is my laptop, so my account is admin (like everyone else in this thread...)

Although I'm not quite sure how it's really relevant to anything...

Everybody on here is an admin, because its impossible to have steam, and steam games on your computer with out being an admin, unless you have another account that you did it with
