im buying a 940 black edition 3.0ghz but we warry when buying quads
they will emit more heat so you better have some case fans and good ventilation

the phenom II have a wicked price v. preformance ratio (especially the phenom II X2 550) but if you want intel definetly go with the i5

i just got a phenom II x2 550 and i easily overclocked it to 3.5 ghz stable and still running 39 celcius idle and max 46 i think it was under load. easy as pie and only cost me 120 bucks for the cpu (CND)

I love the AMD price vs performance ratio! I will be getting a 940 also!

I'd wait for the i5 benchmarks to be sure.
But if your using a AM2+ setup now, why not save money and go Phenom II?
