New TF2 Update!

Sounds to me like the hats will be given to "better" players. I say this because they talk about hats being used to "denote ranks in war time" and they talk about the higher class citizens wearing hats, as opposed to hatless, lower class citizens. Also, i think we might see some new weapons, this based on the post in div discussion in reguards to the beta. Lemme know what ya think!
 
meh. I don't have any hats.. Fail Update will be Fail.
 
As long as we get a drop rate increase, I'll be happy :] What goods new hats if you can't even get em ._.

Also I think there's more than just the hats in the update, can't wait for the rest of it :D
 
Um guys am I the only one who see's the 100% free on the banner? Perhaps everybody gets all 27 hats including the old ones and you can choose out of all of them. Variety is the spice of life!

I hope not. That would ruin the purpose of the hats being rare.
 
I wouldnt be dissappointed YET. Wait 'till they have unrevealed everything and released it.

I think the 100% free thing is a joke at L4D2 boycotters expense.


The new hats look awesome! Here's to hoping there is a way to get them using all of your duplicates.
 
I hope the new scout hat will be cool. I have a hat but it's not for a class i play alot.
 
I play almost every day since the hat update and nothing. I really don't care what they put in the game if I can't obtain it.

ugh more hats means more idling :P
never got a single hat yet, in that update they better decrease the time u must play to achive those hats :(
 
So I guess me, Scrappy, Woodstock, Auto, and a few others all need the new soldier hat.
