OH man!!! Bootcamp would be TOTALLY necessary for this game!

Nice! Yeah, bootcamp tactics would be a must for that game. It looks pretty awesome.

Looks like arma 2 to me. Shouldn't this thread be in the general forum? We could still use a good boot camp for Insurgency...

This is one hundred times better than ArmA garbage. OP:F is dear to my heart. But ya, this might need to go to the general discussion

OMFG what have i been missing..... This this is what im missing... i must say... i need a new shirt i just druled all over mine

That looks mostly single player. Who would run boot camp by themselves with a bunch of NPCs? :P On a side note, that looks freaking amazing.

listen in to the video. It FULLY supports multi-player and is primarily intended for it.

It's mean for 128 players I think, and that's just Human Players. Like ArmA I would imagine you can put as many AI's as the server can handle.

These are the games I'm used to playing coming from a Project Reality/Ghost Recon 1 history, hopefully it won't be a letdown like ArmA 2.

This looks cool! Never played ARMA or the first Op Flashpoint but this looks like something really cool. I wonder if it's going to have a split screen multiplayer for the 360 version so I can play with my bro...

Hopefully it's not a disappointment like America's Army 3 was...

op flashpoint = arma

arma just couldnt get the permission to use the name operation flashpoint because of licensing

but that game does look amazing

Negative... its the same programming team that moved to different ways of making a tactical game. It wasn't meant to replace OpFlash but to go in a seperate direction. This is an all new game engine with different types of game play.

Swat is correct. The guys who made OP:F were Bohemia interactive studios published by codemasters. Then some guys split and published a new game with atari named ARM:A. Atari changed some stuff around and people were upset, but ARM:A had more marketing from Atari and sold better even though it was an inferior and buggier game. So bohemia kept their name on it and cashed in even though it was not as well developed as OP:F and not as hardcore as OP:F when it came to military sim. Thus, that is why so many people are hyped over ARM:A without realizing that OP:F started it all, had better gameplay and stability (and bigger modding community) but was almost "lost" amidst all the other releases. As well OP:F has a couple of expansion packs and still has an active community. However, since then, ARM:A2 and OP:F2 are basically similar, but still reflect their roots due to some of the internal divisions in bohemia.

i'm a big opflash fan from way back, this looks real good.

same here i played the original and back then it was the best thing around

arma2 is full of bugs at the moment with the AI, so i would opt for this if i had a choice

I want this. Too bad my laptop wouldn't run it and I don't feel like replacing my 360.

wow that game looks impressive. The only thing i disliked about the photo was how stiffly the character were standing and how weirdly they walked. Then again, thats pretty minor.
