Why would they make CSS into COD... wouldnt you just play CoD if you wanted the game play and game mechanics of CoD?

I'm all for a new CSS because it's long over due, but Valve needs to start supporting this version more. I would like to see new maps, hit boxes fixed, new weapons, stat tracking like for TF2 and DoD, updated graphics.

Good except it would alienate the current players.

But they should definitely be making updates that don't affect performance, they pretty much dropped CS:S which makes no sense at all.

If they're just announcing CSS2 now, I'm sure it won't be around for awhile. The term "Valve-Time" has a reason for existing, and I'm doubtful they'll even provide a release date on the show tonight if it's going into/in development.

Er. No offense but I don't want CSS to be like CoD at all. Just spam the hell out of nades... get's really boring. Overrated imo.
