Well I decided that I'm done with TF2. EGO servers ruined me for other servers, because I would probably leave them because of all the cussing. My main motivation for leaving is the fact that I would use the little spare time I have to play TF2 and feel that I wasted that time and don't enjoy myself the majority of the time. In other words, the "team" in Team Fortress died to me.
Basically when somebody says a team sucks, I usually can't help but agree behind the mic, because they do. Lack of communication or direction among players causes this and then you end up with 5 in a class other than medic. I know you're going to ask, "Why don't you go medic?" I do, then I can't talk on my mic, because I don't want to slip by yelling, "Hey Dumbo, stop screwing around and follow what I say so this team can actually do something instead of turtle or die constantly!" I've been around long enough that I've seen horrible teams win by having good communication.
Lastly, the diluted modding of some of the EG's, It is usually from the ones I see once in a blue moon, but there is no balance in how they moderate. Some are too headstrong and kick first and then will say something after they kick them or you got ones that will just warn them two or three times verbally and then do nothing. You need to set a balanced style for them to follow or be more apt to revoke. Finally, my alias was Sweaty Carrot not Sweety and I know it isn't a dialectical error, because I'm an English major specializing in linguistics and I've rooted that out.
