Best shooter of all times?

I say the old-original Wolfenstein 3d! i just brougth it over the playstation store and played through the whole thing last night, and it brings back so many good memories

What's your favorite shooter? and why do you love it so much?

Duke Nukem 3D will probably always be my favorite for the humor alone.

Call of Duty 2, hands down! Also best WW2 game i've ever played ^^
Game is still awesome and i still play and is still loads of fun!

Doom (I & II): These games got me into PC gaming.

GoldenEye: Hours and hours spent with friends playing this together.

Half-Life (both games and episodes): Awesome single player games and these got me into online gaming as well.

Half Life 2/F.E.A.R. Series

I like dark shooters, really has depth unlike other shooters.

Hmmmm, so many great games.

I think that honestly i am going to choose Tactical Ops. The CS guys may not agree with me but i found the unreal engine just so amazing. I played it over CS till it died out.

IMO the best shooter of all time is the Half Life series
nothing really compares to the games in this series...as far as single player experience goes.

Well.... games that are very memorable would have to be..... Tony Hawks underground (You could get off the board!!!!) Half-Life 2, Counter Strike, COD2, F.E.A.R.

wolf 3d, quake got me into fps games but i just loved system shock 2 and the half-series these are the kinda games that keep me playing. and and you cant forget the might QuakeWorld TeamFortress(QWTF) the one that started TF and TFC.

and TFC was the first game i played competitive at.
