I have deleted my first review..... I have changed my opinion on the Falcon and the day I wrote my first I was in an awful mood for some reason. I would say to me this falcon is more for casual gaming and the recoil makes it fun! Its is a little hard to get used to for online gaming or at lest for me. I give it a 7.5/10. I would advise getting it if you have some extra cash

Did you rest your arm on arm rest on your computer chair? Mine chair is really comfortable and can leave my arm laying on that forever. Don't know why your arm would hurt after 10 minutes.

Well I have one and I like it so...

20 out of 10 in my book.

Hmm, tomnovint told me he played for 6 hours straight no resting and he was fine. You probably have a weak arm :P

I'm betting you don't have an armrest on your chair.

Even if, it shouldn't be painful at all, you should check that out with a doctor, I don't own it, and the longest I've used it has been half an hour, I was fine... I think it's an awesome product.

Yeah I have arm rests. I don't know just wasn't my thing. I find using a mouse a ton easyer

LMAO the novint falcon is a fail at gaming. Its more of the experience type of accessory. Don't expect to go around headshotting everyone with that thing. Its more of something that you use around just for fun since its UBER COOL and has force feedback and such. Of course a mouse will be easier, the novint falcon is just an accessory to make FPS gaming seem more realistic, i could only see myself using that thing in Single player mode campaigns, never for online gaming unless i wanted to joke around.

You can turn off the recoil and force feedback also just to let you know. I wouldnt return it for a refund unless u really wouldnt use the thing but i would keep it around for just using it once in a while.

Its a neat thing but not great for true gaming.

Sounds like someone needs to work out ;P

grr i want to win one of these !

You don't have to be so closed minded about it. It can be as effective as a mouse it just takes some practice. It has been proven by Novint|Renegade that it can perform competitively against someone that uses a mouse.

It's a great gaming device IMO. It takes some getting use to, and just like any unique game controller, there is a break in period. No, it's not good that your arm hurts, but I wouldn't send it back just yet. Give it some more time, especially with everyone raving about it on eGO.

If you don't want it anymore, I'll definitely take it off your hands. I wouldn't mind having one, but my money situation is preventing me from getting one.

ahaha your arm hurts :P ? not enough training with it :P :D lift weights and you will be like Hulk Hogan :D

I think it would be awesome to have one. Even if using the mouse is better, it creates a different experience playing games. Some people want to use stuff like that in hopes that they will own an entire team in 5 seconds and say "Haha pwned!". I'd like it to add spice to the game i'm playing instead of the same old thing, even if I would suck with it. Something like the Falcon just isn't for some people which is okay. For now until I get some extra funds, i'll stick with the ol' mouse. It's never steered me wrong... Until I fire a rocket point blank into a wall and blow myself up...

I decided not to send my back just yet.... im going to give it another go since they are making a driver that works for every game... or so I here

Hey, I just got my falcon today, and it is really cool. Playing games right now is really hard, but it just takes practice.

I give it a 9.5/10 just cause nothing can be perfect.

Well, you may change your opinion as you get used to it.
It took me almost a month.

thanks for the review tattered. As you get more game time under your belt, would like to hear if things change. Also, if you haven't done this, I would highly recommend not adjusting the control settings at all for the first 10 hours. I've seen several people almost give up on the Falcon, then took that advice, and say they love it now. One person said that after almost giving up, he took that advice, and said he is now "way better with the Falcon"
thx, tomnovint

I really just wanna have it to try playing TF2 with. I was playing with someone who had it and I air blasted a red scout in the air and he shot him in the air with a rocket launcher. He said that it really helped with precision aiming.
