yeah i wiki'd 2012 and it basically says that people are going to evolve again or something along those lines.

I believe that something "big" is likely to happen soon, but I don't believe that anyone will even be able to predict the end of the world. It'd have to be something completely crazy.

I especially doubt that a climate change would be much of a problem; humanity survived an ice age before, and I would certainly hope we have better knowledge of science now so that we could handle severe temperatures again.

i really do not believe that it is the end of the human race. If you think back to 2006 and since when the dates were 666 it was suposed to be the end of the world as we know it. Well 2012 is double 666 and i know that some people are freaking out cause of it, but there is not possible way that the super powers of the world would allow something to destroy the earth we live on. Even thought we may be at wars in point in times with other country's im sure if the world was at stake the entire world would make an alliance to save the human race.

yes we have survived the ice age before and i do like how you but that science is way more advanced now a days. But the ice age wont happen till after our life time, so by the time it comes im sure scientists would have found a way to heat the entire earth with out the need of the sun.
