Hey everyone just to let y'all know that I joined the U.S. Navy today! My job that I will be doing is an (Ma) Master at Arms. Time to get my career goals on it's path!

it will be active duty 4 years to start out then i'll probably sign on for another 4 years. but MA is kinda like military police it just sounds nicer. I'm not sure when i head for basic training they couldn't do my physical yet cause they are having a hard time getting my medical records from a hospital cause the doctor is no longer there and they have to pull it from the archive and they said it could take up to 6 weeks to get. :/

Just a heads up no matter what you go in as in the Army you'll do 18 months in Afganistan or Korea! I was gonna go Army but chose to do the Navy cause my girl and i are almost ready to get more serious so I better be around more often!

As a Master at Arms, it's almost a guarantee you will do time in Iraq or Afghanistan. Even if you don't, you will be away from your girl a lot! Just fair warning!
