I speak English very fluently, probably better than most other Americans. I consider this to be worth noting. Everyone who disagrees, please occupy yourself with cookies.
I speak a little French (4 years, a mixture of junior high/high school level), an equal amount of German (though only 2 years of it, I remember more of it than I do French.)
I never wanted to be one of those people who could speak a little bit of several languages, when I hadn't even mastered one. So few people are able to say they're REALLY fluent in something like English - many people's native tongue.
I also speak "emotional instability" and "cookie-talk" very well.
...mmm...cookies.
