I have a pair of dre beats for video editing, and a pair of bose on-ear headphones because.... I bought them before I bought my dre beats. And for speakers I have bose companion 5 speakers.

I have to pick up some studio monitors (speakers) soon because consumer speakers arnt good enough for real editing.

Currently I am using a pair of Sennheiser HD 555's. I know they arent the best out there, but they sound quite nice for the price paid.

I have them attached to an Asus Xonar D1, which I keep Dolby Headphone on for the surround effect.

I also use a cheap pair of Creative (EP-26 I think) ear buds for work and other times when I am away from my PC

I've heard HD 555s are great for gaming and music. They are definitely quite nice for the price paid. Good pick!

Im using the Triton that John is promoting on the front page, its EPIC. Only bad thing is at quiet volumes, you can hear static with the bass above 5/10, and for some reason the input is not detected in games and skype, but it works fine in Vent. I need to update the drivers however...


but I have never had something as amazing as this 5.1 surround sound. I can see with my ears when I play Css, its great.

How much are they (each)? What interface are they? (usb, fiberoptic?) Can I get them at B and H?
