Hey guys im etek and I just swap from DoD:S too TF2 and im having fun and all, I was wondering I just have 2 questions.

1. why dont TF2 people use the ventrilo channels?
2. why are their less and less people on the servers each day?

Im thinking to myself maybe its the timezones im not sure but I was wondering if someone in the TF2 division could answer my question thanks you.

P.S New favourite map is BlackMesa and enjoying it heaps.

(1) Most TF2 players use the ingame voice chat.... rather then have that and ventrilo running at the same time.....(2) yeah most likely it i the timezone thing, bease here in the states, trying to play around 5pm EST through 12am is like watching paint dry, waiting for a spot to opne on my favorite eGO servers...

hope it helped.

Also - schools are starting to get back in session. Expect slightly emptier servers all around in the coming weeks.

The ingame voice chat works really well in tf2, most people favor it and want to talk to the WHOLE team because everyone has to work together not just the eGO members.

Glad to have you jumping in etek! You can definitely help in making sure the servers get going during the less US friendly hours.

You can always check Vent, very few people (like me) use the channels, others use the general rooms. Why even use Vent, so you can vent, your feelings that is. I'm in the Gravel Pit channel whenever I'm playing anything. Just jump in a channel, and you can wait, or do what I did and drag people in (GET IN VENT NOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW).

On the note of Ventrilo channels, weve pretty much hijacked the General rooms

90% of the people in the General rooms are tf2 basically
