Medal Of Honor!

There are many threads about this game.....

I dont buy it tho, looks like a copy of BFBC2.

I ll get it for the PS3 so i can get the remake and update of Medal of Honor Frontlines

did any of u guys saw the new trailers ? of the multi and the single player ?

ps: If the servers are dedicated, and ego gets a division on moh, i have lots of experience with admining on moh. if u would concider :)

grtz

Why buy this game? Isnt it almost the same as BFBC2?

The multiplayer aspect of this game is being done by DICE, the guys who made BC2, so there are similarities. But if you look at the multiplayer gameplay, its more of a foot soldier based shooter. There are no quads or helicopters.

:O Oke, but i think you'll get a game like MW2 then.

Is anyone really going to buy this game? I mean come on people, are you really going to let the game industry shove yet another modern era FPS down our throats?

This one actually looks less original than the last batch of modern era shooters that came out...and that's saying something. It's a game that looks to bring absolutely nothing new to the table, zero imagination and zero innovation.

If I'm wrong, tell me...but explain why I'm wrong.

The multiplayer resembles a run and gun style over the tactical approach to BF. Looks interesting, but I won't pick it up unless it's AMMMMAAAZING

i 100% Disagree with your statement. Your talking about modern era games being shoved down our thought when really thousands of WW2 shooters were shoved down our thought, like DoD.

Agreed, but the Modern era is the new WWII. It's a fad that the industry has latched onto and now they are milking it like no tomorrow. The WWII shooters pretty much died with CoD:MW, of curse there have been one or two since then...but overall it's pretty much dead. Sure this fad hasn't reached the extent of inanity that the WWII sub-genre reached...but it's getting there quickly. And nothing shows this more than the new Medal of Honor game, which as I mentioned in the previous post is unimaginative and brings nothing new to the table.

you got a point they need a new game out there with more imagination and more creativity. Hmmmm watch i think some vietnam games are comming.

so what does anyone her propose to make a fps based on if not past of present weapons? the only thing left is future, which has been done to some extent, but will be pretty much be the same as the ww2 fad and mw. Its all about the gameplay and what game mechanics it can bring to the table, i dont think what era the game takes place in has anything to do with it. But i do agree that what i have seen so far about MOH seems pretty stale.

As long as there's dedicated servers and the players aren't bullet sponges, I might consider getting it.

And in the discussion, if something is fun and works, I don't need anything new coming to the table. I played the original Modern Warfare, and that was fun. I have not played MW2 because there weren't servers, but I do like modern shooters. I don't need innovation or shiny new goodness every time a game comes out. If the Killzone series had a bunch of full length purchasable add-on campaigns that didn't add any new mechanic I'd still pay money for them.

When CoD:Black Ops and Medal of Honor are out (if MoH has servers) I'll compare them, and figure out which I like better, depending on the options, customization, and overall feel to the game.

I felt that the beta for MOH was pretty basic. The core gameplay seems alright but the game just does not seem fun. One thing I noticed was that while you are playing with a fairly goodsize player count, it feels like you are just playing 5v5. In Battlefield or even COD, it feels like you are in a fairly goodsized match. Ill be looking at it again when it releases, but so far its not really impressing.
