Book Club

I'll attempt to join in on the next book since I just started a book. Good idea though and I'm interesting in seeing where this club goes. :)

Let's check into Cinda Chima. She's fairly new her first book, Warrior Heir, was published in 2006, and has roughly 5/6 books. She's of the fantasy genre but a she's an amazing writer. She has twists that I would never have thought of. She is one of those authors that keep your attention because of plot twists that keep your attention drawn to the book. I got into one of her books and didn't go to sleep till about 3 in the morning trying to finish it.

We NEED to get Max Brooks in Vent.

(The author or Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z)

Anyone who has a kindle book reading device (Amazon has a free program for computer) should check out http://www.pixelofink.com/ Every day they list several of the top choice and new free e-books and bargain books, and the diversity of literature covered has a little for everyone, although they seem to be a little heavy on romance and mystery. I have also seen horror, action, suspense, and even cookbooks get listed on the site tho. Good resource in my opinion.

Never heard of the book club till I saw the poll, although I do love to read. Currently I am waiting for my sister's friend to give me back book two and three of the Hunger Game Trilogy because she stole them while I was in school. I finished the first one off way before the movie trailers or before I even heard that there was going to be a movie but now I have to wait for this silly girl to return my books. #angry. Also can't wait for the release of A Memory of Light from The Wheel of Time series. Quite possible my favorite books of all time, I can re-read any of them numerous times and still discover new things in them and not get bored.

Same here - didn't know until I saw the poll.

I hit the library every Thursday and will see if I can join in - but I am THE world's slowest reader.

So what do we do?
Which book do we read?

Sorry for the questions, i read that post 3 times over and could not get much out of it.

See this line in the original like.

In summary, please download the samples of "Dragonchaser" and/or "Dog of the North." Buy it if you like. We will have Tim Stretton in Vent to speak to us soon.
