I really want that game and try it out, sounds so much fun

Thanks for the support everyone, there are also a lot of =(e)= regulars too. I think making the
U # "message" more known to players would encourage them to use it more, or even let others know that it's still an option. It is sometimes hard to see the automated broadcast message when you're in a gunfight or trying to clutch a 1v5 situation! Thanks
This is a great point, I've mentioned a couple times to people that I'd just use the # command to message the admins and tell them we need someone in dust2, and most of the time people have no idea what I'm talking about. Most people, at this point, at least seem familiar with @ to contact the admins in server.
As other people have said, though, it is really hard to get in to take care of things, especially if its because there's a half dozen AFKs taking up spots. As someone who pretty much plays in dust2 exclusively, I know there's been quite a few times where I used # and an admin came eventually, but the first thing they usually say when they get in is "man, took me forever to get in here".
Some more admins playing on dust2 regularly would be great (I know Camping Carl's been in a lot lately, and Bonez, Crypto, and RedNoob play dust2 really frequently), because I know there's been times where an admin is called for a variety of reasons, and it's great that there's usually a pretty quick response, but as soon as they leave the people breaking the rules (camping spawn all round, annoying teamflashing, mic spamming/language, etc.) just start up again.
Using the # in team chat to contact admins through Global Chat is much simpler and quicker for players in-game. Having to go through Steam friends list to find a potential admin, Steam messaging them, and waiting for them to respond and hop on actually takes a lot longer than it seems. Admins are usually on the servers and will notice when the text from other servers pops up.My two cents:
Personally, I'm not a big fan of dust. Whenever I play there, I rarely enjoy it. I bleed points moreso than any other server, usually. I prefer to be on Italy or mini-games because I enjoy whats there, so I'm there more.
With that said, I feel like people don't know about the # in team chat. I mean, it does display itself auto-magically in chat every once in awhile, but most people don't understand the idea. Or, people don't read chat at all.
Also, I think what Actuary said about admins not being able to get in could be a somewhat easy fix. Maybe hold one or two slots back so that in the case that the server hits capacity, an admin can get in and resolve any issues.
Also, I know that sometimes, I would prefer to be messaged via steam about the issue. That way I have a log of who requested me and when the request came through. Also, a message via Steam can have FAR more detail than the chat limit of the # function.
Plus, saving one or two spots would be nice but what if an admin doesn't join? That's one or two possible spots that a pubber cannot have, so the server gets even more backed up with potential players waiting to join. Brings our server rankings down and has pubbers complain about those potential one or two spots being saved exclusively for admins.

Isn't it possible to allow the server to fill up, but then auto-kick someone if an admin tries to join? Not that doing so would stop the complaining, the person who winds up getting kicked wouldn't be too happy about it.
And by the way, thanks for coming in so quick last night after I used #.
anytime I'm on, I'm always ready to help. Every time I go on the server is always full. I'll sit there for 5-10 minutes waiting for a spot to open up. I think if an admin (eGO) tries to join the server, especially if there aren't any other admins on, it should auto-kick a spectator if there are any, and I know for a fact that the Dust2 server has a TON of AFKs and spectators at times.
You're welcomeanytime I'm on, I'm always ready to help.
And, auto-kicking a pubber, as you said, they wouldn't be too happy about it. But what happens if it auto-kicks an e? Or an eG? Or an eGO? If eGO were to create a system where it only kicks non-eGO members, players would eventually figure out the system and join up eGO, slap on an e tag, and game on. It is an interesting idea but there are many "what if's".
There's a few problems I see with that but you can always Drop Box any ideas you have about Dust 2. But yes, more admins on Dust2 would be helpful.I think the only implementation I've seen is where the player with the highest latency gets kicked/specs get kicked.
I'd be interested to see if it could be set up to not kick eGo members to entice people to join.
The other simpler solution is more admins playing in dust2/more admins among the regular dust2 players so there's a better chance of someone being on/being able to get in.

eGO does not have reserved slots/pay for slots. If you are referring to other servers, then I do understand and sympathize with you.I've gotten used to being kicked for reserved slots.
It's the pay for slots that are kept vacant that are problems imho.
