If it wasn't for me having already won on Sunday I would be scared. I thought prospect of playing GB D in bad weather would be an advantage. Boy was I wrong lol. They gave me 1pt.
Just gonna say I hate being addicted to a game that I suck at and have no luck... Kinda like golf.
Just going to put it out there and complain a little. ... How the heck have I not been able to be above .500 this year when "Kiwi would be 103-47 if they played every team every week"

And then there were 8....
Round 1 of the playoffs are done! Each of the playoff teams acquitted themselves well, scoring an average of 147.59 points. The most exciting match-up was the slug fest between Kiwi and Silent Drifter, out of which the latter emerged victorious, but only by a mere 5.5 points.
We now advance to Round 2. Remember that points scored this week and next will be extra important, since the totals of these 2 weeks will be used to determine the overall champ (i.e. Alpha winner vs. Bravo winner), and in similar fashion, the 3rd and 4th place finishers.
Playoff results and schedule (weeks 14-16):

Bravo league

Pre-MNF preliminary results
After games on Thurs, Sat, and then today, only 1 game (Denver vs. Cincinnati on Monday Night Football) remains in our FF season. 3 of our 4 Superbowl contenders (Dr.Compton, Dangle, Matzwhat) are done for the week, while Skippy has 2 players playing on Monday night (and trails Dr.Compton by exactly 8 points in their matchup).
If things ended now, Dangle would be crowned 2014 champion over Dr.Compton by a mere 0.90 points. However, if Skippy's 2 players are able to eke out more than 8 points tomorrow, then Skippy will leapfrog from 3rd to 1st.
Either way, we'll find out in about 21 hours' time!

All morning I was fighting myself about starting tannenhill. I should have listened to my guy. Freaking Joe Flacco.
If it makes you feel any better, I'll be rooting for Demaryius to get a goose egg tonight, as I'm going up against him in another league I'm in where it's a winner-take-all deal...odds are stacked against me though :facewall:

Well, before Sunday's games I would also have bet my life savings that Andrew Luck would score more than 3.45 points, Matthew Stafford would score more than 8.35 points, or that Russell Wilson wouldn't get more than 50 points. 'Tis FF, where anything can happen...
Matt's dipped that low all season. I knew I should have picked Romo as always

It was a good season. The DrComptonites are going to take this super bowl loss like the Bills of the 90s, and we'll be back next year.
