Sorry for the delay in announcing the (not so secret) final results guys, but here we go --

Final Standings, top 8 only (Position/Team/Week15 score+Week16 score):

1. Skippy = 170.80 + 168.80 = 339.60
2. Dangle 143.25 + 130.10 = 273.35
3. Dr.Comptonites 138.85 + 133.60 = 272.45
4. Matzwhat 115.80 +101.95 = 217.75
5. Qtip 131.55 + 140.70 = 272.25
6. Silent Drifter 105.25 + 127.95 = 233.20

Now for my acceptance speech....just kidding. In all seriousness, thanks to everyone who participated this year for making it another fun and extremely competitive season, and to Dangle for helping to look after our Bravo league. I'm already looking forward to next season!

And on the business of prizes -- I am forgoing my prize (I run our league because I simply enjoy doing so and not for the prize/s), meaning the 2nd through 5th-ranked players will get to choose from the prize pool, starting with Dangle first, then DrCompton, then Matzwhat, then Qtip. I will be sending a PM to each of these 4 players to get this started, in case they miss this post. See the quoted text at the end of this post for the prize pool.

We also have prizes (1-week Dedicated Supporter code) for each of the highest-scoring teams in each league. As I mentioned before, you can't win 2 prizes, so if you already won a prize due to your final position, then the team with the next highest points scored in your league will be eligible for this particular prize.

Highest-scoring team from Alpha league: Fluxion with 1728.70 points (Skippy, Qtip, and DrCompton had higher points, but already placed in the prizes by virtue of top-4 overall finishes)
Highest-scoring team from Bravo league: Kiwi with 1922.85 points (Dangle had higher points, but already placed in the prizes by virtue of his top-4 overall finish)

***Prizes***
For the first time in our 5-year history, we will have actual prizes! A huge thanks goes out to eGO DoD leadership as well as each of the prize donors for their generosity.

The top 4 teams (out of 24) at the end of the season will get to take turns picking from the prize pool below.

In addition, the 2 highest-scoring teams (1 from each league) will each get 1-week Dedicated Supporter codes.

No one is eligible to win 2 prizes, so if you are in the top 4 AND one of the highest-scoring teams, you can only pick one prize. The other prize will go to the next best team (whether in rank or in high score, depending on which prize you select).

Congratulations to all the winners! Especially Skippy...I have to say ODB was a great pick-up, and I hope the Giants do get some good years out of him (as long as they're not playing the Pats).

And thanks to Skippy for running this again - especially when it got even more complex.

Out of curiosity...what are the exact terms of the "sig bet"?
