Old Clans

I knew the AOF pretty well.

There are still a lot of Buxom Bombshells and a few Kustom Kettle guys around

Kustom Kettle was where I played back in 1.3b days. Could not remember the name of their server until you mentioned it. Good times indeed.

Sgt. NumNutz here. As my login name suggests, I was part of LGSO, which started in 1999 as a TFC clan, then migrated to DOD 1.3, then source. As with a lot of clans, life changes and we disbanded (I think some still play via xbox/PS). Current EGO members BearKiller and Hambone and Sonic were also members. I also see some regs show up on EGO every so often who were former LGSO (Zahn, Freelook)

Well back in 1.3 days I was apart of a clan called the 506thPIR I forget the whole clan symbol for it and back then I also went under the name Butcher, shortly after they fell apart I decided to take a break from gaming for a couple years due to my mom getting cancer and when she passed I got back into playing and found the eGO servers where ChiliDude recruited me and I am glad to say you guys got my spirits up from the moment I set foot in the then vent channel and never looked back.

Before Source I was in a clan called like {R} for Rampage or something like that. eGo is great because it's all about the game and the community which is what I like and we keep it classy...... On the opposite side of the same note; I played on a clan server (that I will not mention here) the other day. I'll never go on their servers again. I can't stand being called a liar. I don't even mind being cursed at... but accuse me of cheating by shooting from spawn when I merely no scoped you with an amazing shot? C'mon... hahaha. Never had this type of issue on an eGo server. Stay classy folks don't rage

I was in some wow raid guilds before ego and I'm in a mortal online guild currently called demi/ritterbruder

Ritterbruder and imperial dreams are large eve guilds

The first clan I was in was on the original Xbox for Unreal Tournament 2004. The clan tag was LGD for Legends. One of the few games I was ever really good at and the most serious I was ever about gaming. Really enjoyed that game. Went by the name Ice Cream Man.Then life happened but I was able to get back into gaming and joined eGO back in 2012.

In DoDS is eGO my first offcial clan, But in css I was a member of the [IwS] ( International War Soldiers )

I think there is one clan again now using that tag, but that is not the original, Idk what happend, one day the website was gone, and heard nothing about it anymore.

Lets see here...

Way back when (mohaa/Cod1/BF1942) days I played with a group :TUS: (The Unknown Soldiers, I think). Was great times back in the early 2000's. Most recently to here, in the CoD4-modern era on XB360 is PKOW (don't think it actually means anything), but there was about 20 of us and do pretty much what we do now on weekends: get drunk, yell and shoot each other. Then, I started traveling a lot and didn't have time for games...Earlier this year I bought a better PC to work from home instead of having to use my 12" laptop to VPN. I installed DoD:S over the summer to remember old days and hopped in the EGO server because it was low ping (being in Tampa). Then decided to join since you all "seemed" to be alright :w00t:

Started playing online in 1999.

Joined my first clan, Strength and Honor clan playing competitively Counterstrike, Battlefield 1942 till that clan fell apart.

Then joined Patton's 3rd Army continuing competing in Battlefield 1942 till that clan fell apart.

I joined LGSO clan playing DoD. Met up with Hambone, Sgt NumNuts, and a few others that come into eGO DoD:S servers now and then.

Several left that clan and joined StormTroopers clan and played DoD:S, COD4 that Beard of Katarn and Hambone were members.

I stopped playing on-line for a few years, and earned my Masters degree. I then restarted playing on-line again after I bought a new box, and then starting playing on the eGO servers. I joined up as it was a great place to play.

I started out in Steel Maelstrom (SMS), then went to Bloody Vikings! [BV!]

Then drifted over this way after a hiatus of about 9 years or so...real life caught up to me.

Iv been playing on eGO servers for a really long time but never joined for some reason. Spent a little time with 1stMR and then joind eGO. I played with a group mostly family in cs and DODS 1.3 currently in a group on ARMA 3 called LFG midnight but not a clan just family and friends

I started gaming back in 1998 my junior year, I played DoD, CS, Diablo and Battlefield 1942 for a while as a loner, then joined the clan -[SoC]- or Squadron of Choas for DoD and CS(-[SoC]- Funky). Played with them for a while but with real life getting people offline I was only with them for three years. I found eGO through a friend of mine and was recruited after about a month of playing on our servers. As some might recognize Im ol' skool eGO, back during the days of houses and still wear my HellHounds tag proudly.

Seem to recall our first meeting was not all good John!! Long time back....

Are you referring to how I got banned for insisting on throwing grenades into a knife fight?

That's how I signed up to my first forum. I had to post in a contest a ban thread.

Cpt. Elvis told me he meant to kick me but banned me instead.

You should have seen my face when I was kicked out of game and the ban message came up.
