You seem to be missing the point. Admins don't respond to these all the time. If an admin go AFK while ON T side and does not come. There is a huge window of time where a player can continuously break rules with no punishment. This is for when admins are AFK while not in spectators. If they lowered the time it takes to be switched to spectator, that could also be a potential solution. I'll bring up last night again. We 1 afk admin on T side. He did not return. The same account MFK'd a stack 3 times. Map switched. He continued under different names. If the admin was pushed to spectate faster or a DEDICATED SUPPORTER could simply VOTE SWAP the person for 15 minutes. That could be all the difference between killing a stack once and ruining a single round, or ruining an entire map.

They don't respond because they either 1. have a bunch of reports 2. are afk 3. are alt tabed or something. You could've suggested this, lower the afk timer and allow dedicated supporters to vote kick/ban whiles they're in spectator. You decided to word it in a specific way that you're allowed to vote kick/ban whiles an admin is not afk or is afk. Also remove the vote swap, swapping is for admins not for VIP's. Understand that BY financially donating to eGO you're getting perks, basically a thanks for donating.

Isn't this a suggestion thread? Arguing is going to happen. The point of forums is to argue, have fun, or to announce stuff. That's what I at least think. Also please don't call me "buddy". My opinion? Yes, I'm guessing he's trying to say suggest that DS can vote kick/ban whiles an admin is online, but it first seemed like he meant that DS can vote kick/ban whiles an admin is actually playing. I'm not going to respond anymore as this has went far over the line.

You are again ignoring the additions to the post and arguments I've made. If the admin is AFK or ALT tabbed. This solves the problem. If the admin has reports, they are already actively admin-ing and this doesn't even apply to it. "Understanding that donating for perks" doesn't matter at all in the scenario. Even if I wasn't VIP this would still positively impact the server. I'm trying to get the jailbreak server a solution to the problem that is the server blocking the vote kick and vote ban commands with an admin online that is AFK and not in spectator (Alt tabbed or legitimately not present at their computer)

Your Dedicated Supporter "perks" should only be used as a last resort and only in cases where someone or something is becoming a major disruption to the rest of the server (i.e Mic Spamming, Mass RDM, Mass Free Kill et cetera). After doing so, you should be following up on this by making a ban request (with proof or evidence) so that it may be addressed and taken care of accordingly. Furthermore, we need to understand that administrators are players too and we do not "forfeit" our own enjoyment for that of others.

Now, back on topic. If there is an administrator(s) present and they are not dealing with the situation because they are AFK then make use of our GMSC (Global Multi Admin Chat) system. This system can be accessed by typing - &Message - to communicate with other admins that may not be on your server. Also, it doesn't hurt to hop on TeamSpeak or get in contact with an admin you may have added on Steam. If you are not able to get in contact with anyone using these methods then the use of your votekick and voteban tools are permitted.

So essentially exactly what I've already stated but in the terms of a plugin based around it. Also staff definitely do forfeit their own enjoyment to better the community and provide a better experience for others considering they give up their own free time and game time to deal with certain situations... I've been around gaming communities for 10+ years and have yet to meet an active staff member that has stated otherwise, so you'll be a first.

This is the situation that I'm talking about. A bypass to allow this(vote kick/ban), when a ban req is already submitted and I've already tried to get others online. A temporary way to stop people from causing future problems when waiting for an admin to complete punishment.

Alright, I felt that I didn't need to say anything on this post because it seemed to like go back and forth and then equal thoughts out. But with all do respect Mayhem Death , that was completely irrelevant. Obviously you can have opinions, I'm not here to stop that, but taking what you thought was the point of post, and then mixing it up, ending up with what you said with examples were just not even close to what the topic was. P Power_Outlet was referring to the fact that admins going online, which stops Dedicated Supporters from being able to do something, will then proceed to "dilly dally" in their own little world while MFK's were having their fun. This ruins the experience of players and can end up damaging the community. Now, I've used my own words and expressed my opinion on it. But please, for the love of god, if you're going to have an opinion, don't change it up with irrelevant information.

For making a post chastising admins for going AFK to the point of saying they should be on the grounds of possible demotion is far-fetched. DS?s have the privilege of having !votekick/!voteban. What confuses me is why you think admins having to step away from the computer is on the grounds of punishable?

This post was unnecessary to start with, which is why it turned out the way it did. If you need someone dealt with and you see an admin is not at their keyboard, maybe go to Teamspeak/Discord/Forums to take care of them. But what do I know.

I?m going to save all of us a lot of reading: Please don?t speak out of your ass. Mine wasn?t an opinion, it was a declarative statement as to the means of this post. If I was making an opinion, I would?ve made it more obvious. Don?t act as an authoritative figure who knows the means of all these posts when you do not.

Taking shots at my admins because they have to step away from their computers when you think they should answer your every beck and whim is what you meant. Your lack of intellect of the subject and reading into a situation shows.

For all reasons above, I?m closing this ridiculous post. If you have an issue in the server and you see an admin has stepped away from their keyboard (HOW DARE THEY!!!), then you should find an admin in Teamspeak/Discord/Forums.
