Hey all,

Good maps are a key to making Jailbreak a fun experience, but we all like different things.
I'm curious to know what you all look for in a Jailbreak map.
Cheers!

1. Complex vent systems
2. At least 1 cool/unique game.
3. Not built open like Costco
4. Map flow encouragement to not play the same 2 games first every round.
5. Gotta have at least 8ish games. (Look at you, dust 2).

Otherwise, have fun. The most challenging part of level design, once you understand how to do it, is creativity, so give it a few tries.

Unique games are awesome, especially when done well. Probably my favorite new games are on jb_pyrenees.

Hmmm... In My opinion i would have to say my top 5 are

1. I Love when the map has signs it can really help you learn a map and give prisoners that good chance of fighting back and communication
2. I love games and interaction with the map itself a good map typically has 8+ games with all being different categories some being luck, skill, knowledge, reactivity, etc.
3. Tunnels Or Vents. When jailbreak maps have tunnels or vents that gives the prisoners that chance to slip away unnoticed while the guard stands posts are the moments i live for
4. Design and colors some maps can be really good but just look plain ugly i feel like aesthetics also has a lot to do with a prison map in my opinion
5. Easter Eggs. Theres nothing like finding an easter egg on a map while having fun for example a minecraft themed map and you're finding a reference to like herobrine and such

These would have to probably be my top 5 but id be interested in reading some others peoples.

Most important part is cool secrets and more than 2 first games you can play.

It has to be unique... like moonjail or clouds. Also custom textures. I don't want all my maps looking the same when I play.

Fun games and secret and pls not obama
just like anyother map

fun games, cool secrets and a rebel map that's not too difficult to rebel but difficult to rebel if y'know what I mean.

A balance between control and chaos: There need to be things that can be kept under control by guards but at least one or two things that are completely out of anyone's control, such as cell games in arcade. Also I look for good games that work, an armory that isn't shit, and other smaller things that make the t experience not horrible.
