So fix that before you fix other stuff please. The servers are just trash. Even people with 20 ping have shots that don't register because of all the "mods" on the servers.
You don't think it's due to the amount of people online as well? I've noticed I hit way more shots on a lower server pop than when the server is full, and player cap is pretty massive compared to the other servers people are comparing JB to, so that might also be affecting hit reg.The servers are just trash. that is what he is saying (maybe), server is just not that good to handle a "big" amount of players leading to the hit registration problem or other problemsYou don't think it's due to the amount of people online as well? And that's the bigger topic to be discussed in my opinion. To fix something like this, it would more than likely result in not as many people being able to play. My 2 "solutions" I thought of would either be to prohibit players that exceed X amount of ping from connecting (highly doubt anyone would want that) or to reduce the player cap of server (doubt ppl want that either). So the big question is how to reduce latency interference without negatively impacting the player base.that is what he is saying (maybe), server is just not that good to handle a "big" amount of players leading to the hit registration problem or other problems
I’m pretty sure eGO isn’t ever going to have a ping requirement for any server as it would deter anyone that may not be NA(where host is) to join the servers and not allow them to playAnd that's the bigger topic to be discussed in my opinion. Yea that's the point I was trying to make lolI’m pretty sure eGO isn’t ever going to have a ping requirement for any server as it would deter anyone that may not be NA(where host is) to join the servers and not allow them to play
Yes, I know. But if there was a "lag compensation" however that would work, you can change your connection to the game so that your ping is higher, but without actually getting higher latency. So this would be easily abusable. You don't think it's due to the amount of people online as well? From what I know about lag and latency, the more of it you factor into the server, the more guesses it will have to make on which shots actually hit who. Sadly if you're mixing a cesspool of ping rates of 20, 90, 250, can turn into 1 huge guessing game for the server since it's impossible to remove the distance factor that packets have to traverse while playing.
I think it's also possible to work something out with your ISP for gaming to route IP traffic over the shortest path, so your packets don't get sent over some giant spaghetti loop of wires, and get less lag.Yes, I know. Lag is the true enemy of gamers :/ frfrI pray for something which can really improve the gameplay of players with big ping... I think i'm going to stop playing JB soon too because I can't really enjoy playing anymore... Most of the time I'm just pissed off...
It's sad because I enjoy this server but damn, it's just unfun overall :/
yep ong... It's been a while that I'm fighting it but I can't anymore lol (when there is 20-30 ppl, its cool but when the server is full, its unfun)Lag is the true enemy of gamers :/ frfr
Ikr, kuantum posted solution just need people to look at the post and add a lag comp pluginyep ong... It's been a while that I'm fighting it but I can't anymore lol (when there is 20-30 ppl, its cool but when the server is full, its unfun)
@Belt @Spare Hello senior managers of the cs team, this situation has yet to be resolved and I was wondering if we can get some sort of update on what you guys could possibly do and look at this please. It is a game ruining experience for all players outside of North America which accounts for a large number of players so please list this as top priority. Here is some further evidence that there is still a problem. .
it would go crazy if they like did something so it's playable at least >: (
