spawn killing

hello every one, i have a question about spawn killing in the eGO servers. I play on strand a lot, thats the server i mostly play on. Some times the US camp in the Axis spawn with mg's. Now some people tell me this is ok and some that it isn't. Is spawn killing ok at all? i wasn't sure what the rule was. If someone could let me know that would be great!

As long as you're not killing people right when they spawn, then it's ok. You can camp outside of a spawn area and wait for them to come out. That's not considered spawn killing.

Spawn killing is allowed on Orange maps.

Also, if there is alternative exits, camping at one exit is ok.

I don't really see a problem with allies waiting outside spawn I mean they spawn on the beach and the same thing happens to them.

Good point. On Donner we don't throw grenades in the Axis spawn but if they setup an MG there all bets are off. Same with Allied spawn.

Not cheap at all, very strategic. Look at what allies have to go through just to get up the beach.

Spawn camping as it's defined in eGO is killing people as they appear. However, on maps such as Strand and most Orange maps, it's pretty much pointless to enforce this since some of the spawns are wide open.

All I know is that I hate it when I spawn three times in a row and still can't even take a step before I die! So I am against it!

The Allies have a whole beach with some cover while the Axis get a hallway. A perfectly bare hallway.

i think the rule is good as it is it is cheap and cowardly to spawn camp,

i donno bout you guys, but when i play allied on strand., after getting killed 10 times while trying to spawn, I REALLY WANNA KILL AXIS. So i understand ya =)
